Happy trails to you, until we meet
again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.
Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.
Some trails are happy ones,
Others are blue.
It's the way you ride the trail that counts,
Here's a happy one for you.
Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.
Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.

He was "The King of the Cowboys." Born Leonard Slye,
and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Roy Rogers learned
to be a cowboy by working on a ranch in New Mexico.
His first performing name was "Dick Weston," which
he used as a member of the Sons of the Pioneers. He
landed a movie role as a singing cowboy in 1938, and
went on to star in radio and the movies, and later
became the most popular TV cowboy of the 50s.
With second wife Dale Evans, sidekick Pat Brady
(with his Jeep named Nellybelle), his great horse
Trigger, Dale's horse Buttermilk, and his German
Shepard Bullet, Roy fought the bad guys every week
in the modern West from his home base on the Double
R Bar Ranch. He appeared in over 100 movies. Despite
his public fame and great success in several
business enterprises, Roy's private life was filled
with tragedy, including the deaths of his first wife
and three of his children.
